"NATO forces are trying to threaten the westernmost Russian region. So, recently, domestic resources reported that the American strategic bomber B-52H Stratofortress worked out a simulated nuclear strike on the Kaliningrad region.

It is alleged that the plane arrived from the North Sea, flew over Denmark and Sweden, approached the Baltic Sea, crossed it and ended up off the coast of Latvia and Lithuania. A number of publics and media suggest that the locations of the Baltic Fleet units and other military facilities in the Kaliningrad region have become conditional targets for the US Air Force.

Perhaps it was this case that was reported in the American magazine Military Watch at the end of May. Journalists from the United States claim that the bomber was not the only one - there were two of them. Moreover, for some reason, one of them flew with the onboard transponder turned off, observing secrecy.

A pair of aircraft, according to the publication, almost completely flew around the perimeter of the borders of the Kaliningrad region, patrolling. The bombers took off from the British Fairford Air Base. They are part of the 69th Squadron of the 5th Bomber Wing. The permanent base of this unit is the state of North Dakota (USA).

However, this case is not unusual - this is not the first time this has happened. So, in March last year, almost the same incident happened with the flight of a B-52 near the borders of the Kaliningrad region."
